Opened for play in March 1991, Palmetto Hall's Arthur Hills Course is beautiful, superbly maintained beauty with subtle contouring, a distinctive layout. Created by renowned designer Arthur Hills, the par-72, 6918-yard course is a graceful masterpiece that gently flows across the land's naturally rolling curves, winding through deep thicket of moss-draped oaks and towering pines punctuated with sparkling lakes.
Like the best of Hills' work, the course is integrated into the natural landscape. Along with the designer's trademark undulating fairways, this heavily treed course features protected greens, many edged with bunkers, as well as strategically placed water hazards. Most memorable is the large lake bordering the difficult 18th hole.
Four different teeing areas - gold, blue, white and red - comfortably accommodate any golfer and offer distinctly different, yet always challenging, golfing experiences.
